Community Support Worker, Auckland in Auckland, Auckland

We are seeking experienced Community Support Workers to work with our busy bureau in supporting a range of clients in the mental health and disability support sector for shifts with our contracted clients which will include week days and weekends. Agency work means you get to choose the shifts you want, when you want them.
As a Mental Health Support Worker you will play a key role in ensuring your clients enjoy a high quality of life and encourage them to participate in all aspects of daily life. You will be providing them with supervision and support while encouraging independence.
You will need to have a minimum of six months experience in a mental health setting, or have a National Certificate in Mental Health
You must be proficient with managing challenging behaviours
A full driver's license and reliable vehicle is essential
You need to be highly motivated and a self-starter
Crisis Prevention Intervention trained candidates would be preferred
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
