Your tasks:
- Compute final estimation of property values, taking into account such factors as depreciation, replacement costs, value comparisons of similar properties, and income potential
- Obtain county land values and sales information about nearby properties to aid in establishment of propertyvalues
- Prepare written reports that estimate property values, outline methods by which the estimations were made, and meet appraisal standards
- Inspect properties to evaluate construction, condition, special features, and functional design, and to take property measurements
- Draw land diagrams that will be used in appraisal reports to support findings
- Examine the type and location of nearby services, such as shopping centers, schools, parks, and other neighborhood features, to evaluate their impact on property values
Your skills:
- Proficiency in materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads
- Persuading others to change their minds or behavior
- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Proficiency in plant and animal organisms, their tissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment
- Proficiency in the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design
- Proficiency in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
- Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems
