PARTLY FURNISHED ROOM: Available from 22th May 2014Our long-term flatmate is leaving us - So we seek a responsible, easygoing, tidy Flatmate replacement. The house is clean, well-established,&in Balmoral. We are 30 seconds walk to Balmoral shop's - close walk to St Luke's Mall + supermarkets. Next to excellent bus routes (Dominion Road to city every 15 minutes) (Cost: $3.40 + 15min's) to Universities + downtown.This very light&sunny room is of average size - It measures 3200 x 3840. It also features 2 set's of french doors&one set of smallish windows&a polished wood floor. The room currently does come with some furniture: A small computer desk with chair,&a stylish chest of draws measuring 1550 in length&plenty big enough to support a wide screen TV. A built-in wardrobe big enough to store a suitcase, hang clothes with a sizable shelf above. Just a note about the computer desk + chair - I'm not able to provide a pic of the computer desk&chair that comes with the room currently - But it measures 900 x 520 on the tabletop&has several shelves above for books&things.We could possibly source a bed if one was required - also we can provide stacks of clean bed linen/blankets, covers + pillows if needed. Please note there's no additional storage space in any other parts the house.The room is located at the back of the house so your vista is the tranquil&totally pretty back garden&private back deck area - The room is also off the kitchen&one of the walls in the room also backs onto the loo. We have a rule no flushing after 10pm unless absolutely necessary (lol)For those interested in growing their own vegetables - there's a sizable sunny, sheltered patch of garden we can provide you with to garden yourself up a storm.
We favor a single person. Student's studying&/or working, or on working holiday in Auckland are totally welcome. A shorter-term person is also fine but 3 month minimum stay 'pretty please.We've had great German&South American folks as past flatmates, they've been totally awesome. Also people that work in hospo (Restaurant's,chef's,&Bar staff') are also welcome applicants. If you are none of those above - no worries - we're pretty open, send us a message.Absolutely No couples thanks - And people who are excessive or big drinkers we're not feeling.

In your reply mail - Please tell us your age, your occupation, how long you intend to stay in NZ.Due to the many recent security warnings on flatmate websites - I will ask you at some point to email or fax a copy of a work reference, university document with your details on it, a document from your job- or a scanned copy of your drivers license or Passport - Basically something that proves you are who you say you are.About the flatmates:We are currently 1 male Italian pool life guard + 1 male + 1 female (both Kiwi) that both work in the live music industry with bands&on music productions - Plus the same 2 of us also run a small independent recording label from our home laptops.Additionally 1 female French intern whose current position is in the wine industry. This ad is for our 5th person. The vibe in our house is usually relaxed,often watching TV or working away on our computers.We all lead pretty busy lives&we come&go at different times day&night - Often work can finish in the early hours of the morning for 2 of us.We can often be working during the weekends - So for the most-part we tend to do our own thing&generally remain rather independent. But if it works out we can do something social together - we might enjoy a drink together, jam, scones&tea out in the garden or a catch-up in the kitchen while making dinners.Some weekend afternoons brief spells of Reggae music can be heard drifting out of our lounge room. It does give the house a nice vibe -We would prefer someone who was over 25. We are a wide mix of ages. So if you're in your 30's or 40's that's still all good. Vegan's are fine - but meat is cooked in the house by 2 of us.Additionally we have 1 friendly, fluffy ginger cat - Just a note if you have pet allergies our cat (whose the boss of the house) is fluffy&has fine hair that could set upset allergy sufferers.Although our profile below say 'Pet's -Yes' no matter how much we tick the 'No' box - I'm sorry we do are unable to have any more Pets at the house.Rent - Plus Expenses:$185per wk + expenses (See below)PLEASE NOTE: Bill totals below are general estimates only - these are 'each'&are per month&things like Power + Gas can be more or less depending on the season.Power - $50.00Net - $31.50 (High Speed)Gas - $30.00 (Hot Water + Stove top)Water - $30.00Additional:There is no Bond required.Bathroom:1 X Separate toilet&bathroom/Shower.Parking:
The current situation means there is off street parking for your car - but .this could change down the track. A car-parking space is not included in your rent however is available to you at this time.
Other Bits&Pieces:Fridge Space - Yes good -Freezer Space - extremely limited -Separate cooking and food/shopping arrangements:Cook and buy your own food. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need.We do have turns at buying pack's of toilet paper + dish-washing liquid.Yes, we have a dishwasher, but we're currently just washing our individual dishes by hand.Yes, we do have SKY in our lounge - It's an optional cost if you want to be part of that - 1 of our roommates pays the lion share b/c it's his TV&he uses it most.Cleaning arrangements:
