Role Summary/Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the GE Capital Marketing and Product teams in the delivery of marketing and communications programmes and product and portfolio initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has a marketing education and/or related commercial background, strong administrative skills, is a good mutli-tasker and has a desire to gain further marketing and product experience.
Essential Responsibilities Marketing:
Provide support to the marketing team and the marketing planning processes:
Maintain and manage the marketing operating calendar
Maintain and manage the marketing campaign calendar
Marketing lead on BTP – ensure marketing managers are adhering to planning and budget process
Opex reconciliation and interaction with finance team.
JAS administration and layer 1 audit reporting
Management of marketing P&P''s
Supplier Management – Lead on print supplier account
Support adhoc marketing projects and events
Supporting adhoc campaigns and initiatives run by marketing managers.
Product:
Provide support to the product team and help with any day-to-day issues that arise across the consumer and commercial product portfolios
Owner of product Opex – invoice processing and management
Inventory management of all mandatory product collateral.
Manage relationships with vendors providing services for the ongoing delivery of the GE Capital product portfolios
Support adhoc product projects and events
Communications:
Supporting the NZ Communications leader
GE Capital NZ employee newsletter – collation, production and distribution
Updating communications distribution lists
Coordination of inte
al digital and print signage
Getting to Strong:
Marketing & Product BUR and RIM responsibilities.
Qualifications/Requirements Graduate preferred;
Marketing qualification desirable.
Experience
2 years in a marketing or product function or related environment preferred.
Technical Knowledge
Working knowledge of marketing, product and communications and the role they play in driving business objectives.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
Good numerical skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good people skills, experience in relationship management.
