Front End Developer - Marketing, Auckland in Auckland, Auckland

Xero is online accounting software that gives small businesses and their advisors real time access to accounting information, anytime, from anywhere.
We are searching for a senior front-end web developer who enjoys designing, scoping & creating innovative web solutions. You should be able to work autonomously as part of our Auckland marketing team on our site: xero.com. Our website is updated constantly to attract new customers and provide a superb user experience. Your job will be to implement web updates on an on-going basis to improve all aspects of the New Zealand Xero.com web presence.
We need a good communicator who is passionate about the web and ensuring all that we do and produce is beautiful! You'll collaborate with our design and operations team and feel comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders. Ideally you would have worked in a digital agency before and you'll need to be somebody who can work within a fast paced dynamic environment.
Specific skills we're looking for:
A proven background in front end development
Experience working with marketing teams or within an agency
HTML and CSS skills, you know all the tricks to make things work across mode
browsers
Solid JavaScript skills, with experience using jQuery or similar framework
Ability to implement SEO updates and maintain SEO compliance across the website
Experience with Google Analytics, Web Site Optimizer and other tracking tools
Experience with cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility as well as mobile-friendly code
