Role Summary/Purpose: The Risk/Portfolio Management department is responsible for optimising the profitability and/or exposure to credit and fraud risk and play a major role in the development and implementation of good practice across the portfolio(s).
The key objective of this position is to work in a small team responsible for multiple Portfolios in the area of loss forecasting, financial planning and portfolio management.
Essential Responsibilities: Establishment and development of an consolidated Consumer Risk portfolio analytics and reporting framework
Ownership of local, regional and global reporting requirements and relevant relationships (both internal and external requirements)
Work with the CRO and Risk Leaders to provide tactical and strategic support in areas of risk measurement, portfolio analysis and reporting to foster proactive management and predictive monitoring
Ensure risk data is appropriately utilised and is appropriate for meeting the reporting and analysis deliverables of the department. This includes enhancement and maintenance of related systems, processes, data:marts and documentation.
Assist with championing use of risk data and related systems across the department. Improve productivity and accuracy (compliance) through information management initiatives. This includes development of automated solutions where required
Own execution of risk information changes, associated with local, regional and global reporting requirements. This would also include necessary monitoring and oversight.
Assist with ensuring timely and accurate completion of reporting and analysis
Develop and deliver consistent, accurate, reconcilable and timely reporting and analysis capabilities and data sources across Risk Management. Automate where possible / appropriate.
Data Administration and Reconciliation across key data / reporting source and repository systems.
Define, capture and report risk data in a reliable and consistent manner to support internal and external reporting needs and portfolio analytics. Ensure completeness and integrity of reported information. Ensure adherence to relevant accounting and regulatory standards. Work with Risk Leaders to ensure commentary provided where appropriate.
Ensure timely execution on the monthly reporting requirements including but not restricted to delinquency, watchlist, risk classification, non:earning assets, Monthly Risk Update (MRU), Credit Committee Pack's and Portfolio Quality/Monitoring Review's (PQR/PMR)
Assist in the development, management and implementation of the Risk MIS strategy to support all local, regional and global reporting and analysis requirements.
Data Administration and Reconciliation across key data / reporting source and repository systems.
Manage the portfolio reporting process including measuring performance of drivers against triggers and communicating results of to the Chief Risk Officers, Business and Risk Leaders and other relevant stakeholders
Provide insight and analysis into emerging trends in portfolios
Provide training to wider Risk team when appropriate
Other tasks assigned by Manager, Risk Information Management
Qualifications/Requirements:University degree
CPA or equivalent would be desirable
